SIGLEY RONALD W. Age 54, of Saint Petersburg, FL, died on April 5, 2016, at home. Lil' Sig as he was often referred to, was preceded in death by his mother, Ronice L. Sigley and his father, Donald W. Sigley. He is survived by his older brother, Donald J. Sigley and his sister-in-law, Kimberly Sigley; a nephew, Donald B. Sigley; a niece, Rachel L. Sigley; and stepmother, Constance Sigley. All reside in Saint Petersburg. He is also survived by an older sister, Renee D. Sigley; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Pittsburgh area. Ron was born and raised in Munhall, PA where he attended Saint Therese Catholic School. Ron excelled at every sport in his youth. He played for Munhall Baseball in the Little, Pony and Colt Leagues. He graduated from Steel Valley High School in Munhall in 1979 where he starred in baseball and football. In the early to mid 80s, Ron worked for Katilius Furniture in Homestead and an auto parts store in McKeesport, PA. He also worked as a deckhand for the Ohio Barge Line out of Dravosburg, plying the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers to New Orleans and back to Pittsburgh. Ron moved to Saint Petersburg in 1988 to be closer to his father and brother and worked at Pier 1 Imports on 4th Street. Ron was a restless and rambling man. In 1990, he set out on his own as a traveling salesman across America. Ron often remarked that during his travels, he saw all of the wonder and grandeur of every one of the lower 48 states. His favorite places were on the west coast in Washington, Oregon and California. He made people smile wherever he went. Through it all, he never missed a game when his beloved Pittsburg Steelers were on. Declining health combined with the wear of constant motel rooms forced Ron to settle down. He returned to Saint Petersburg in 2013 until his condition gradually worsened and he passed away. He is reunited with his loving parents, released from his pain and affliction. DALZELL RAYMOND F. Age 99, of Uniontown, PA and formerly of Pittsburgh, PA passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016, in Hillside Manor with his loving family by his side. He was born July 26, 1916, in Pittsburgh, PA, son of Raymond T. Dalzell and Wilma Hall Dalzell. In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Davidson Dalzell; a son, Raymond G. Dalzell; and a brother, Lawrence Dalzell. Ray enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and fought in the Pacific Theatre of Operation. He worked as a union carpenter for many years before his retirement. Ray enjoyed Mopar cars, dogs and watching the Steelers. Left to cherish his memory are two sons, Frederick Dalzell and James Dalzell; seven daughters, Evelyn Simmons and husband, Harold, Arlene Smith and husband, Forrest, Dawn Dalzell, Joan Bivens, Lynn Unetich and husband, Jeff, Virginia Kirlangitis and husband, Allan and Lou Ann Nicholson and husband, Ronald; he was called Pap by his 20 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great- grandchildren. Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. SCHENK HAROLD LOUIS, Jr. Age 87, of Murrysville, PA, formerly of Columbus, OH, passed on April 10, 2016. Hal was a kind, generous man who was a loving and loyal father to two daughters, Diane (Bill) Mauroni and Julie Schenk and who adored his two granddaughters, Lydia and Gianna. Hal graduated from the Ohio State University with a bachelor's and master's degree in Engineering Physics and was an avid OSU Football Fan, along with his surviving sister, Martha Lindner of Columbus. Hal was drafted into the Army where he did research for two years and then came to Pittsburgh to work as an engineer for Westinghouse for 41 years. Always interested in fitness, Hal was active in the canoe club and was a runner for many years during which time he accumulated a variety of medals and trophies. In later years, he continued weight lifting several times a week, riding his bike and hiking with his daughter, Julie and her dogs. He enjoyed playing bridge and listening to Pirates baseball. Hal had a terrific sense of humor and loved to joke, having a quick wit up to the very end. He was loved by many, including kind neighbors who were quite fond of him.
