MARIANI FILIPPO P. Age 94, formerly of Braddock, on Thursday, August 27, 2015, Filippo P. Mariani, passed quietly into life eternal. He was born on March 27, 1921, in Sant'Angelo del Pesco, Italy to Guiseppe and Nicoletta DiLucente Mariani. He was the husband of the late Maria (Mariani) Mariani. He is survived by his devoted daughters, Anna (John Bo) Belinsky of North Braddock, Josie (Clyde) Teer of Las Vegas, and Linda (John) Iovito of Ross Township; and five loving grandchildren, Lea (Greg) Brown, Phillip Belinsky, Breanna Dickson, Johnny (fiancée Chelsey McDonald) and Dominic Iovito; and three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Filippo was a master bricklayer who immigrated to the USA when he was 35. He is survived by his wife, Soo Ok Ryoo; children, Michael (Anne) Ryoo and Nancy Ryoo; grandchildren, Payton and Tabitha Ryoo. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Morrow; also preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Regis Schneider; and several beloved pets. Beloved sister of Jack (Terral), Joe (Marcy), Tom (Sally), Bill Schneider and Mary (Ian) Singleton; also survived by many well loved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Carole received a teaching B.A. from Duequense University and went on to earn her M.Ed. and further education from the University of Pittsburgh. She taught in several schools and various children's programs in the Pittsburgh area until she retired from the Montour School District. She was also an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Carole loved socializing with family, friends, or almost anyone else and enjoyed spending long hours playing or teaching card games to fellow residents of the Masonic Village. She loved animals, conversation, a good meal, and lots of laughter. Carole greatly appreciated humor, always ready with a joke or banter. She enjoyed being on the giving or receiving side of good natured teasing with family.
