BUCEK ALICE (JERROME) Age 93, a longtime resident of Coraopolis, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, at Washington Commons. She was born in Weirton, WV on August 28, 1922, to the late Frank and Edna (Weir) Jerrome. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her beloved husband, Steve Bucek and siblings, Marion Wherry and Daniel Jerrome. Loving mother of Sally (Jim) Baumgartel of Robinson and Shirley (John) Johnson of Saluda, NC; cherished grandchildren, Jimmy and Mark Baumgartel and John and Jeffrey Johnson; two great- grandchildren. Alice was a 1942 graduate of Coraopolis High School, devoted member of First Baptist Church of Coraopolis and former member of Tuesday Morning Bowling League, Tempo's Dance Group (N. ROBERTS THOMAS G. Age 84, of Turtle Creek, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2016. He was born April 20, 1931, in Graceton, PA, son of the late Carlyle and Bessie Marie Oakley Roberts. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a retired draftsman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his life partner, Georgette Deklever; a daughter, Pamela Thomas; two sisters, Pauline Webb and Marie Scott; and a brother, John Roberts. Thomas is survived by a son, Thomas (Diana) Roberts, Jr. of Delmont; a brother, William (Doris) Roberts of N. Huntingdon; a sister, Dolores (William) Henderson of North Ridgeville, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Marguerite Roberts of North Huntingdon; and numerous nieces and nephews. KENDRALLA FRANK, Sr. Age 81, of Hopewell Twp., passed away February 18, 2016, after a brief illness. He was born October 3, 1934, in Greensboro, PA, and was the son of John and Anna (Sheba) Kendralla. Frank was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rose Marie (Catalogna) Kendralla; and his brothers and sisters. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, honorably served our country in the Army in the Korean Conflict and retired as an Engineer from A&S Railroad. Surviving Frank are his devoted children and their spouses, Frank and Cheryl Kendralla, Jr., Kristina Kendralla and Adam Centinaro; two granddaughters and their spouses; plus five great- grandchildren whom he deeply loved. Frank is also survived by a sister-in-law, Rose Kendralla; and numerous nieces and nephews. CVETAS ALBINA “BEA” Passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016. Bea was born on November 26, 1926, to Mary Dekleva and Joseph Butkovec in Pittsburgh. Warm weather and family brought Bea and her late husband, Joseph Cvetas, to Florida in 1995 where they resided in North Palm Beach and Jupiter. In her younger years, Bea was an excellent student and always had a talent for writing. She spent the majority of her career working for the Shaler Area School District in PA. Bea took great pride in her Slovenian heritage and was an active member of the Slovene National Benefit Society, SNPJ. She spent her summers with her beloved "Big Joe" at the SNPJ Recreation Center. She often referred to it as "God's Country" and it held a special place in her heart. Bea was very compassionate, loved to polka and enjoyed a good hearty laugh! Her family was her pride and joy and she never missed an opportunity to share how fortunate and blessed she was to have so many loving people in her life. Bea is survived by her two sons, David Cvetas and his wife, Jeanne Anne, of Florida and Joseph Cvetas and his wife, Jennifer, of California; four grandchildren, Marty Cvetas (Mary Frances), Sarah McLendon (Tony), Jessica Cvetas and Jared Cvetas; three great-grandchildren, Martin and Warren Cvetas and Keegan McLendon. Bea will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and many loving friends. A life celebration will be held at the SNPJ Recreation Center at a later date.
