ZWIBEL JOEL 12-14-1968 to 4-2-2015 Precious is the one who's gone, a voice we love is still. A place is vacant in our home no one can ever fill. Your end was very sudden it made us weep and cry. The saddest part of all was we couldn't say good bye. You were so special to us that no one will ever know what it meant to lose you. There is an ache in our hearts that will never go away. Not now not ever. You are in God's keeping R.I.P. we love and miss you, Mom, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins

FITZWILLIAMS JOHN PATRICK Of Penn Hills, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015. He was the ultimate “Good Guy” a phrase he used often: to him, everyone was a “good guy” or a “good girl.” He saw the best in everyone, and almost without exception, everyone responded in kind. Known as John to some, Fitz to others, and Butch to many, he was the devoted husband (58 years) to Catherine Carr Fitzwilliams; the loving and supportive father of Cathie Matvey (Martin), Eileen Kiesel (Mark), Maureen (deceased 2003), Mary Stinelli (Tom), Johnny Fitzwilliams (Joe Kekeris), and Carrie McEvoy (Darren); he was the FUN Pap to Marty Matvey (Kate), Brian Matvey, Tim Matvey, Kate and Marley Kiesel, Tommy, Sean, Mick, and Kevin Stinelli, and Maeve, Brigid, and Margaret Mary McEvoy. His generous spirit will be missed by many, including sister-in-law, Margaret Carr Kearney; and stepsister, Linda Ardolino; as well as the nieces, nephews and cousins of the Kearney, Kirk, Kuhn, Scherer, Wank, and Fitzwilliams families. Like many Pittsburghers, Butch loved sports. He was a Steelers season ticket holder since the 1960s. As a youth, he and older brother Jimmy (deceased 1956) competed in the local Golden Gloves Amateur Boxing contests. Later, he coached his children's sports teams and was coach of the Penn Hills Nighthawks. During the Korean War era, at the age of 17, he joined the US Navy, serving stateside aboard the USS Destroyer Tender, The Yosemite. In the mid 1970s he was Commander of American Legion Gold Star Post 820 in Monroeville. He was a loyal union member and trustee of Teamster Local 211, and was a dedicated longtime (49 years) route manager for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. With his openness and authenticity, he made friends wherever he was. He and Catherine traveled widely, including visiting family and friends in Ireland. Not surprisingly, this was his favorite destination. His religious Faith, Irish wit and energetic positivity served him well all of his 81 years. He will be laid out at FINDLAY C. WYLIE FUNERAL HOME, 11311 Frankstown Road. Visitation Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 1-5 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at St. Maurice RC Church (Forest Hills) at 10:30 a.m. with Father John Skirtich officiating. If so inclined, in lieu of flowers, family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to: Scripp Research Institute for Alzheimer's Disease Research. 1-800-788-4931, https:// support.scripps.edu.
