PETRUSKA MICHAEL, Jr. Age 88, of New Sewickley Twp., on Thursday, May 31, 2018. Beloved husband for 26 years of the late Tyola; loving father of Korin (Chuck) LaCroix, T. Justine Petruska, Michael K. (Molly) Petruska, Amanda (Matthew) Pilz. He cherished time with his grandchildren, Dylan, Tyler, and Bryant LaCroix, Noah, Savannah, Sadie, and Kadin Pilz, and Hattie Petruska. He was born in Woods Run, son of the late Michael and Tekla Petruska, Ukrainian immigrants; brother of Olga Petruska and William (Jean) Petruska; preceded in death by seven siblings. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War who loved music, history, and the pursuit of knowledge. He was active in Barbershop singing for 30 years. Above all, Michael valued relationships and prioritized time with family and friends. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. McILWAIN PHYLLIS (SKINNER) Age 79, of McMurray, formerly of Evans City, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, with her loving husband by her side. Beloved wife of John McIlwain for 37 years; loving mother of Patrick J. “PJ” McIlwain and Kevin J. (Holly) McIlwain; proud grandmother of John J. and James A. McIlwain; caring sister of Nancy Veltre and the late Richard (Pam survives) Skinner; stepmother of Deborah Yordy and Karen (Mark) Millner; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Phyllis received her Bachelor's degree at Slippery Rock University, Master's Degree at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and her Ph.D. at the University of Pittsburgh. She was a Professor in Elementary Education at California University for 35 years. Phyllis also served as Faculty Advisor Director for Kappa Delta Phi and Emeriti Faculty Member at Cal U. She was also a longtime member of the Red Hat Society in Peters Twp. Phyllis enjoyed shopping and was an avid reader, charter member of the book-a-day club. Phyllis will be remembered for her caring nature, beauty, stylish fashion, and most of all, love for her family. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS. SISK FLORENCE M. "FLO" Age 90, of Upper St. Clair, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 31, 2018. Born on September 17, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Clarence Bonzer. Beloved wife to the late John Paul Sisk, Sr.; loving mother to Sharon Sisk, Debbie (Wayne) Young, Linda (David) Halpern and John Paul (Beth) Sisk; cherished grandmother to Ricky, Melissa, Heather (Dan), Brad, Michael (Meggan), Shelly (Bob), Adam, Rachel and Mark; adored great-grandmother to Jackson, Jonathan, Abigail, Dylan, Mia, Luke, Conner “CJ” and Curino; dear sister to Margie Murray and Bob (Helen) Bonzer. FULLERTON ERNEST L. "ERNIE", Jr., Ph.D. Age 74, of Mt. Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018. Beloved husband of 47 years of Christine (Trombetta) Fullerton; loving father of Laura A. Fullerton; cherished Papa of Jason N. Turney and Scott A. Turney; beloved son of the late Ernest L. Fullerton, Sr. and Marie (Farina) Fox; beloved brother-in-law of Robert (Cathy) Trombetta; loving nephew of Anita Sunseri; also survived by many cousins. Ernie spent 34 years in law enforcement. He was the coordinator for the IUP Municipal Police Officers Training Academy. After retiring from the State, he became the Director of Academic Affairs at the University of Phoenix and later became its campus director. He taught at the University of Pittsburgh for 28 years as an adjunct professor for the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. He served as Chairman of the Mt. Lebanon Replublican Committee for 12 years and was the committeeman for the 1st Ward. He served two years in the US Navy with the Naval Security Group in San Francisco. AMIANO LOIS ANN Age 63, born January 13, 1955 passed away unexpectedly on May 29,2018. She was met by her parents Charles & Lois (Scott) Amiano, her brother Charles J. (Chuckie) Amiano, and her beloved pet Kirby. She leaves behind her three daughters Eva West, Courtney (Michael) DeVinney, and Marissa (Joe Thompson) Broadus. She was known affectionately as Ma, MeeMaw, and Gammie by her six grandchildren Michael West, Dylan Thompson, Ava Amiano, Joseph Thompson III, Vivienne DeVinney, and Audrey Thompson. Aside from her girls and grandchildren she leaves behind her three sisters, Linda Eiler, Shirley Amiano, Susan Hudson, and a brother Craig Amiano along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was loved immensely by her girls as she was an amazing and caring mother. She loved her grandchildren fiercely and spoiled them rotten. She was always supportive, smiling, joking, and doing her best to lighten the mood. She will forever be missed and treasured. Husband and wonderful caregiver to his loving wife, Mildred Staudt; father of Mark (Dina) Staudt, the late Gregory Staudt, the late Stephen Staudt, Sr, and Christine Staudt; grandfather of Lauren (Matt) Rowe, Brandon (Kaci) Staudt, Stephen Jr (Morgan) Staudt, Kori Staudt, Jennifer Staudt, Adam Staudt, Alec Staudt, Kristopher Staudt, and Bradley Staudt; and great grandfather of Gabrie and Maven Rowe. Alfred was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union No. 5 for 61 years. His positions included: assistant business manager as of 1974, and held the position of Recording Secretary until his retirement in 1997, chairman of the Local Union No. 5 Political Action Committee, sat on the Board of the Local 5 Welfare Benefit Plan, Chairman of the Local Union No. 5 Sick and Disability Committee, PA AFL-CIO Auditor (First Local 5 officer to hold this position. Local 5, to this day, still holds this auditor position due to Al being selected by the PA AFL-CIO), Trustee of the WPEE Pension and Insurance Fund, and Trustee of the WPEE Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee and Labor Management Cooperation Committee. Herward John Patrick Age 74, of Mt. Lebanon, died peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, May 31, 2018. Son of the late Patrick and Ellin McGovern Herward, John was the beloved husband for 36 years of Noreen Werling Herward; the devoted father of Ellin Herward Wade (Travis) and Julie Herward McConnell (Forrest); the adoring “Pap” of Mason and Marie Wade; and the dear brother of Thomas J. and Patrick “Joe” Herward. He also is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. John was born and raised in Pittsburgh, where he attended St. Basil's School and Duquesne University. He also proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. John valued time with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren above all else. His family was the object of endless stories shared with all who crossed his path. John met many strangers, but few parted ways without trading a story or two with him. LENIHAN PATRICK Born June 19, 1954, son of Harry Lenihan Jr. and Rose Marie Brunner Lenihan, died unexpectedly, surrounded by family, on May 31st. Father of sons Patrick and Christopher and daughter Alexandra. Brother to Jane Lenihan, Theresa Wisse (John), Kathy Flack (Ron), Louise Klindworth (Jeff), Rose Wiese (Mike), Beth Allen, Dan Lenihan, and David Lenihan. Survived by numerous nephews and nieces who loved him dearly. Also survived by his former wife Lisa Pupo Lenihan and his dear friend Carlene Arendas. Patrick dearly loved his family. He was a euchre player, an avid reader and golfer, and could otherwise be found cheering from the stands at any Pittsburgh sporting event. He was a great friend, and a fine addition to any house party. PRIBANIC JOHN John's blessed journey ended peacefully at age 108 on May 31, 2018 in Millsboro, DE. Formerly a resident of West Wilmerding in North Versailles, he moved to Dover, DE at age 92 to live near his son, Tom. Born on June 22, 1909 in Zdenac, Croatia, he and his mother, Ana, arrived at Ellis Island on September 17, 1912 to join his father, Franjo Pribanic in Pittsburgh. Quitting school in ninth grade, he began working at Westinghouse in East Pittsburgh to help his family but was laid off during the Great Depression. He found construction work on the Montgomery Locks and Dam and in coke plants in Midland where he met his future wife, Pauline Wasko. They married in 1940. Returning to Westinghouse, he continued working until his retirement after 45 years. He served as a commissioner for the North Versailles Water Authority for 10 years. He also was a lifelong member of the Croatian Fraternal Union, Lodge #141. John was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Pauline; his brothers, Frank, Joseph, Tom, and George and his sister, Anne. John is survived by his sons, Tom Pribanic (wife, Dee) and John Pribanic (wife, Diane); four grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous cherished nieces and nephews.
