EICHOLTZ ANNA MAE (OLEY) Age 90, of St. Anne Home, Greensburg, and formerly of West Mifflin, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 11, 2018. She was born in Braddock on April 3, 1927, the daughter of the late John and Anna Oley; and the wife of the late Arthur J. Ike Eicholtz. She lived in Glassport for many years before marrying Arthur and moving to West Mifflin. She was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish in Duquesne. A former member of the Christian Mothers of Holy Name Church, Duquesne Senior Citizens Council, Fellowship Club of Duquesne, and the Knights of Columbus Senior Citizens. She was the credit manager for Busy Beaver Building Projects for many years until her retirement. Anna Mae was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be sadly missed. She was blessed with three children who loved her dearly, Kathryn (Jim) McMichael of Ruffs Dale, Arthur Eicholtz, Jr. of West Mifflin, who passed away in 2012, and Jeffrey (Suzie) Eicholtz of West Mifflin. Her grandchildren were the love of her life and they loved their Grammy, Jimmy (Katie) McMichael of Greensburg, Kimberly (Travis) Snyder of Scottdale, Sara (Jonathan) Monkelis of Youngwood, Ian (Samantha) Eicholtz of Orlando, FL, Craig Yogan of West Mifflin, and Chad Yogan of Hershey. She found so much joy in the company of her great-grandchildren, Maddox Monkelis, Henry McMichael, Brianna Monkelis, Samuel McMichael, and Jagger Eicholtz. She is also survived by her loving sister, Florence Laychak of Glassport; many nieces, nephews, and relatives. In addition to her husband and son, she was preceded in death by three brothers, John Oley, Stephen Oley of Glassport, and Lawrence Oley of Georgia, (formerly of Glassport). Survived by his wife of 41 years, Debbie; and his daughters, Danielle and Kimmie (Jamie Perri). FALCK ROBERT C. Known as "Bob" to his many friends and family, died Sunday, February 11, 2018, at age 82. Bob leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Penelope (Torlidas); daughter, Maria; son, Robert; son-in-law, Larry; grandchildren, Stephanie and Jessica; and step- granddaughter, Elinor. Born and raised in Shadyside, the son of Jules and Jean (Faber) Falck, Bob was a lifelong resident of Brookline. Bob met his future wife while attending Liberty Grade School. He attended Connelley Vocational High School and graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany and upon returning home in 1960 he married Penny at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Oakland. Throughout his career, Bob worked for Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing Co., The Howard P. Foley, Co., A & B Smith Co. and Sargent Electric Co. He retired from Sargent in 1998. Bob was a lifelong volunteer. For ten years he served as a youth counselor for the Greek Orthodox Youth Association, through St. Nicholas. After his children grew up and moved on to college, he turned his energy to helping prepare food for St. Nicholas' annual Food Festival, something he enjoyed immensely for many years. He was also longtime volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America, both at the local and council level. In 1985, Bob received the Silver Beaver Award, presented for distinguished service to young people within a BSA local council. He also received the Prophet of Elias Award, the highest honor in Greek Orthodox scouting and the St. George Award the highest honor in Catholic scouting. After his son moved on from scouting, he continued volunteering as a Wood Badge Trainer, the advanced, national leadership training open to Scouting volunteers and professionals. In his later years, Bob enjoyed vacationing with his grandchildren, the light of his life. Friends will be received at JOHN A. He was also a member of the Pennsylvania Athletic Directors Association, the Elizabeth Forward Alumni and Friends Association and the Elizabeth Township Seniors. Wally was a Teacher, Head Basketball Coach, Head Track Coach and was also Athletic Director at Elizabeth Forward High School. He retired after 33 years of service. He taught World Cultures, History, English, Science and Math. He was a graduate of McKeesport High School and Clemson University where he attended on a Basketball Scholarship. He also served on the Elizabeth Forward School Board. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Darla Ruth Golz Gibbons; daughters, Debra Ruth Gibbons and her lifetime partner, Donald R. LOSTETTER GEORGE J., JR. Age 97, of Moon Twp., died on February 11, 2018, in Allegheny General Hospital. He was born in Mt. Oliver on December 19, 1920, the son of the late George J. and Mary (Kraus) Lostetter. George retired from US Airways in 1982 after a 40-year career. In 1953, he founded the Allegheny Airlines Federal Credit Union, now the Clearview Federal Credit Union, where he served as President for ten years. George enjoyed building models of vintage airplanes, one of which is displayed along with items relating to All American Aviation at the Heinz History Museum in Pittsburgh, PA. He also contributed articles to the Allegheny West magazine and the American Way, American Airlines in-flight magazine. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his wife of over 70 years, Alice L. (Mutschler) Lostetter in 2011. He is survived by his daughter, Alice Andrews (Donald) of Moon Twp; a granddaughter, Teresa Shomo (Milton) of Manassas, VA; two great-granddaughters, Nicole Huynh (Calvin) and Allison Shomo (Tyreek Brown); a great-great-granddaughter, Rileigh Huynh; a brother, Walter Lostetter; as well as many nieces and nephews. Dennis grew up in Johnsonburg, PA and graduated from Johnsonburg High School. He received a degree in Civil Engineering from the Carnegie Institute of Technology. He was responsible for a variety of Industrial and Commercial Construction projects, around the country. He settled in Pittsburgh and raised his family while working for the Dravo Corporation, and Kossman Development, where he later became VP of Construction. He was active for many years in the St. Louise De Marillac Parish where he served as lector. He enjoyed playing a variety of sports- Baseball, Softball, Golf and he was an avid Racquetball player. Loving husband of Mary Ann (Creasy) Boccella; beloved father of Virgil (Kim) Boccella and Lisetta (Jack) Novicki; pap of Jacob, Taylor, Dylan, and Nicole; great-grandfather of Ava Grace; son of the late Joe and Lisetta Boccella; brother of Joanne Papariella and the late Sam Boccella; uncle of Jim, Joe, and Mark Papariella. In his early years, he excelled in football, basketball, and track to the point that he was inducted into the Carrick High School Sports Hall of Fame. He continued his football career playing semi pro football with Hogan Athletic Club. After his football days were over, he competed playing softball for BYM. As his kids were growing up, he was very active in the CCAA. He dedicated much of his time coaching boys and girls teams. He was also part of the Carrick Business Association. In his later years, he stayed active through golf and bowling. Virgil liked living an active life, even at the age of 82, he would still venture to the gym.
