NELSON MARGARET M. “VICKIE” A lifelong resident to Braddock Hills, Vickie was born in Washington, PA on February 21, 1935, and died at the age of 82, on June 3, 2017. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Theresa; and her son, Daniel. Vickie loved to cook and was very good at it. She also enjoyed singing, expressing herself as a member of the Woodland Hills Community Choir and her church choir. Vickie also had a great love of cats, especially her companion, Lemieux. CLAIR LORI (CONRAD) It is with great sadness that the family of Lori D. Clair, nee Conrad, passed away on June 3, 2017, with her loving husband, Norman at her side. We rejoice for Lori's peaceful passing, she flies with the angels. Lori's lifelong passion was serving veterans and her community. As an active member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, she was serving in the position of PA State Commander Dept. at the time of her passing. She volunteered at the VAPHS for 23 years, acting as the VAVS Representative for the DAVA. The family asks she be remembered in the spirit of her servitude. Lori was the loving daughter of Lawrence D. Conrad, Sr. and Elizabeth J. (Lang) Conrad. She was born November 1, 1954, and was preceded in death by both her parents; and her brother, Lawrence D. Conrad, Jr. A devoted wife, Lori is survived by her husband, Norman, of 42 years; her Uncle Bob and Aunt Donna Conrad; her godson William Conrad; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Beloved wife of Almer F. Moore, Jr., who she married on July 18, 1964; loving mother of Andrew (Monica) Moore, Douglas (Kristin) Moore, both of Detroit, MI, and Marybeth (Michael) Lang, of Gibsonia; grandmother of Sydney and Jenna Lang, and Joshua, Alexander, Samuel, Nicholas, and Sophia Moore; sister of the late Dennis and Gerard Coleman; and nieces and nephews. POPKO MARGARET Age 99, of Clairton, passed away Sat., June 3, 2017 in Heritage Manor Senior Living, Brentwood. Born March 23, 1918 in Toronto, OH, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Katherine (Pavlik) Hudak. A member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton and its former Mother's Club and Garden Club, Margaret volunteered for Clairton Meals and Wheels and the Patient Escort Service at Jefferson Hospital. She was also a former member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew S. Popko, who passed away Nov. 21, 1976; and her siblings, Mary E. Laver, Michael Hudak, Anne G. Hudak, and Helen Thomas; and her granddaughter, Sharon Kolodychak. She is survived by her daughters, Peggy (Daniel) Kolodychak of West Mifflin and Joanne P. (Ronald) Beckett of Clendenin, WV; her son, Andrew R. (Bonnie) Popko of Valencia; her grandchildren, Ryan (Jenn) Popko and Ross (Rachel Novosel) Popko, Justin (Felicia Lucia) Beckett, Christopher (Justine) Beckett and Kevin (Chrissy) Beckett, and Diane Kolodychak; her great-grandchildren, Adam and Colin Popko; and also nieces and nephews. SOMERS NANCY P. Age 58, of Cranberry Twp., passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017. Born May 23, 1959 in Aliquippa, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Gerald and Dorothy Phillips. Nancy was faithful to the Lord. She was a very active volunteer at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. She received the “Manifesting the Kingdom” Award from the church. In the church, Nancy was involved with the Comfort Blanket Ministry and the White Elephant Sale. She was a four p.m. greeter, worked the Fish Fry and belonged to the Gardening Angels. She was involved in the advertising portion of various events the church held. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening. Nancy will be dearly missed. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Thomas W. Somers, whom she married on August 26, 1983; and her daughter, Alaina Greenawalt and her husband, Chris of Rochester, NY.
