Kumer, Jr.; and mother of Jill (Stan) and Ken (Beth); sister of Kenneth Berkoben (Linda), Terry Berkoben (Patricia), JoAnn Zietz, Jeffrey Berkoben (Ilona); grandmother of Kaitlin Jesson (Michael), ET3 Jacob Clever (Joyce) and Emma, Elisa and Eva Kumer; and great- grandmother of Glenn Jesson. Born to the late Kenneth and Phyllis (Moyer) Berkoben, Diane graduated from Wilkinsburg High School in 1961. After marrying the love of her life, she selflessly devoted her time to her family and many friends to whom she was a comforter and trusted confidant. Harold, age 87, formerly of Bellevue, husband of the late Clare (Lowrie) Harold; beloved father of Catherine (Ed) Mancini, Martin (Michele) Harold, Joseph (Lisa) Harold, Thomas Harold, and James (Charlene) Harold; brother of Bernard Harold and the late Harold Harold; grandfather of Kristan Fisher, Megan Spanos, Eddie Mancini, William and Allison Harold, Shauni Johns, Brandi Harold, Austin and Hunter Harold; great- grandfather of Madeline Fisher and Michael Spanos; also many nieces and nephews. WALDENDZIEWICZ WALTER C. Of Pleasant Hills, on March 17, 2017, age 70. Beloved husband of 47 years of Cheryl L. (Mohney) Walendziewicz; son of the late Walter and Elizabeth Walendziewicz; devoted father of Ann (Albert) Gaska; loving Pap Pap of Alayna and Andrew Gaska; brother of Dolores (Francis) Szatkowski and Patricia (late Bob) Hajduk; brother-in-law of William Mohney, Alan Mohney, Susan (David) Swenson and the late James Mohney; also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and his dog, Lizzy. Walt was a graduate of Duquesne University with a Master's Degree in Education. He was a High School Spanish teacher for West Mifflin School District, where he retired with 34 years of service. He was a dynamic teacher who brought the real world into his classroom. He enjoyed and respected his students tremendously and they, him. The love and respect not only lasted during his teaching career but also into his retirement years. His teaching defined him. Walt was a recipient of many awards which included Who's Who Among American Teachers and Duquesne University Award for Excellence in Teaching and Commitment to University Values and Traditions. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Born May 26, 1925, in Roio del Sangro, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Vito and Marietta Coletta. Fidelma was the loving wife of Livio Ramondelli, who preceded her in death on April 19, 2006. She is survived by two children, Dr. Salvatore Ramondelli of State College and Nina Ramondelli Porzecanski and her husband, Arturo, of New York, NY; grandchildren, Livio, Marc, Katia, and Yuri; great- granddaughter, Emma; and sister, Giuditta Cavorso. McLAREN JAMES MICHAEL Born March 6, 1948, died peacefully on March 17, 2017, after a long battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He is survived by Mary Rose Campolongo-McLaren, his wife of 49 years. Jim was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm Neil McLaren, Frances Fisher McLaren and brother, Thomas McLaren. James leaves behind two sons, John Michael and Jason Matthew with wife, Shanna and two grandchildren, Makenzie Rose and Jameson Matthew McLaren. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, James served his country faithfully in the US Army, Army National Guard and US Army Reserve for 17 years. He was a graduate of Penn State University. James worked on various Railroads spanning many states and countries for 30-plus years. James was an active member of the NRA and The American Legion. James fought valiantly with Pancreatic Cancer and wanted others who struggled with the disease to have access to services that helped him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Nikki Mitchell Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Early Detection, Research, Treatment and Family Help.
