Beatie was born on September 27, 1925, in McKeesport, PA, to William Henry and Martha Pauline (Draheim) Manns. She was married to Andrew A. Lingsch (Deceased). They have one son, Rev. Keith A. Lingsch. She was a graduate of McKeesport High School and worked for United States Steel's Irvin Works Plant. A member of Concordia Lutheran Church, McKeesport, she played the organ for 50 years. She was preceded in death by father and mother; husband; and brother, William Henry Manns. She is survived by sister, Alberta Manns Richardson; son, Keith (Lori); grandchildren, Andrew, Jeremiah, Rachel, nephew Bill Manns; nieces, Diane Manns, Susie Divelbliss; brothers-in-law, Clifford (Rosemary) Lingsch, Richard (Bonny) Lingsch, Robert Lingsch; sister-in-law, Irene Potiseck; and many brothers and sisters in Christ. DeFEDE MARGARET M. (CROWLEY) Age 94, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, January 22, 2017 in Hobe Sound, FL. Wife of the late Louis; beloved mother of Susan Foerster Arnold (George) of Hobe Sound; grandmother of Andrew and Kimberly Foerster; sister of Helen (late Russell) Anstead, Gerald (surviving wife, Jane), Raymond (late Jo Anne), and the late John (surviving wife Dorothy), Fr. Kenan, Tom (surviving wife Suzie), Loretta (late David) and Anne Crowley; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Born in 1922 Ellwood City, Margaret was the daughter of the late James and Margaret (Walsh) Crowley, she was the fifth child of nine children. A graduate from Lincoln High School and Mercyhurst College in Erie. She also taught home economics in Albion, Cambridge Springs, PA and Liberty High School in Youngstown, where she taught home economics for 26 years. Then, having retired in 1980, she moved to FL. In Hobe Sound, she was an active member of St. Christopher's Church where she was in the choir, Council of Catholic Women. She volunteered at hospice and local nursing homes. She enjoyed golfing, cruises, bingo and spending time with her family and friends. The summers took her back to N. Springfield, PA where she lived at the cottage on Lake Erie, built in 1948 with her late husband, Louis. Visitation MONDAY ONLY 9-10:30 a.m. in the MATTERA FUNERAL HOME, 188 E. State St., Albion, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 180 E.
