BALLARD AMOS DONALD Age 88, of Harrison City, died on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, in his home. He was born on January 10, 1928, in Beaver County to the late Amos and Edith (Clark) Ballard. Amos is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Suzanne (Laughrey) Ballard; loving sons, Donald Mark (Beth) Ballard of Houston, TX, Paul David (Helen) Ballard of New Philadelphia, OH, and Matthew Robert (Sue) Ballard of Novi, MI; five grandchildren, Crystal (Richard) DeLarosa, Benjamin (Beth) Ballard, Katelyn, Lauren, and Eric Ballard; great-grandson, Zachary DeLarosa; and sister-in-law, Linda Tafel of Irwin. CRAWFORD MARILYN S. Beloved wife of the Reverend Hugh M. Crawford, died Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Southmont of Presbyterian SeniorCare, Washington. She was born November 4, 1928, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late George and Eleanor Shingldecker Schreiber. She was a gentle, kind woman, full of joy, who greeted everyone she met with a smile. Her life was filled with love of family, friends, and service to others. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are daughters, Christina Bowers, Carolyn (Frank) McElwain, Elizabeth (Timothy) Evans; a son, Stephen (Julie) Crawford, and "Our Lynn" Pelco; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Andrew) Straub, Jessica (Graig) Tuschong, Kyle Crawford, Brittany (Alex) Gordon, Alexa and Charlie Evans; five great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Deceased are three siblings. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Covenant, 267 E. Beau St., Washington 15301, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2016. LEECH ROBERT “BOB” J., Sr. Age 82, a kind and faithful man who was a great husband, father and grandfather, of Moon Township most of his life, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning at Good Samaritan Hospice House. He was born in E. Wheatfield, PA on November 11, 1933, to the late Frank and Mary (Loyaek) Leech. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Bill and John Leech. Beloved husband for 58 years, Jo Ann (Kopp) Leech whom he married on November 2, 1957; loving father of Mary Jo Leech of Michigan, Dottie Leech of North Fayette, Terry Terle (Dallas) of Moon Township and Bob Leech, Jr. of Nevillewood; cherished grandfather of seven; and one great- granddaughter; also loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. His heritage in Moon began in Mooncrest where he, along with others, helped it become recognized as an historical site in our area. Bob, a Saturday night friendly usher, was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church. Proudly serving in the U.S. Army, he was also in the management of LTV's mill rites. He was a walker in his neighborhood, loved the local sports teams and also had a great smile. He will be deeply missed. Born January 6, 1920, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Alex D. Crum and Gladies (Bible) Crum. She was a homemaker. Ethel was a member of Holiday Park Baptist Church. Surviving are sons, John Jorstad of Cabot and Wayne Jorstad of Alberta, Canada; daughter, Patricia Jorstad of Wilkinsburg; six grandchildren, Guy, Gregory, Joella, Jared, Justin, and Joshua; and five great- grandchildren, Kyle, Nathan, Shaun, Lucas and Lynnea. He was born August 20, 1951, in Braddock, son of the late George and Ruth (Hunnell) Kasardo, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Annette (Polovchik) Kasardo; sons, Tyler and Alex and the late Thomas, Jr.; brothers and sisters, Georgine Saccamango of Swissvale, James G. Kasardo of Swissvale, Lee Ann Fox (Michael) of Westchester, Nancy Brush of E. McKeesport, Carol Brush (Tim) of Swissvale, Patricia Kasardo of East McKeesport, Peggy Romano (Kenny) of Wilkins Twp., Pam Kasardo of Madeira Beach, FL, Paul Kasardo (Richelle) of N. Tom loved his family, proud father, was known as a storyteller and enjoyed jazz music. He loved coaching basketball in the St. Maurice and AAU Leagues.
