DANDREA EDITH E. (KNIGHT) Age 89, of Coraopolis, formerly of Pittock, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 29, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer and other illnesses. Edith was the beloved wife of the late Michael E. Dandrea; loving mother of Linda (Ted) Hansford and Michael (Edwina) Dandrea; very proud grandmother of Danelle (Adam) Diodata, Michael Dandrea, Bob Hutchison, Drew Dandrea; and great-grandmother of Anthony and Leah Diodata. Her most enjoyment was being with her family. Edith will be remembered for her kindness and beautiful smile. YUHAS REGIS Age 67, of Duquesne, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 in UPMC Montefiore. Born on June 7, 1951, in McKeesport, he was the son of the Late Joseph John Yuhas and Virginia Marie Colby. Mr. Yuhas honorably served his country in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Yuhas enjoyed playing guitar, fishing, and watching baseball. He especially loved the music of CCR; he is survived by his loving brother and sister, Daniel (Yvonne) Yuhas and Cheryl (David) McGeehan; and several nieces and nephews who will sorely miss him. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Karen Yuhas Reilly. Family and friends will be received in the WILLIAM S. SKOVRANKO MEMORIAL HOME, INC., Richford and Commonwealth Avenue, Duquesne, on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, from 2-4 p.m. and 5:30 -7:30 p.m. at which time a Blessing Service will be offered by Rev. BRUCKMAN WILLIAM ROBINSON, Jr. A longtime resident of Forest Hills, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 30, 2019. William was born on February 7, 1932, in Wilkinsburg, PA. Bill was a proud graduate of Wilkinsburg High School (1951) and Pennsylvania State University (1955) with a B.A. in Commerce. Bill's secret to a happy life was music (he played the piano) and humor (he was a great punster). Bill married his first wife, Joyce Myra Tilton, 1958. Bill and Joyce had two daughters, Brenda and Kathryn. Joyce passed away in 1962. Later, he met a widow, Marilyn Bruckman, and her daughter Patricia. In 1965, the five of them got married and he gained another daughter. Bill was a longtime Realtor for Bruckman Realty and a member of the Independent Fee Appraisers (IFA). He was past president of both the Greater Pittsburgh Board of Realtors and the IFA. He was a proud Navy veteran, where he served on board the aircraft carrier USS Tarawa. His three great passions were Kiwanis where he was a Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor and 60-year member, Penn State University, and his family. Bill liked to be active and had many other activities: Judge of Election for his ward for many years, member and president of his local AARP chapter, kids reading program at Hosanna House, Silver Sneaker exercise class, and others. He also loved his cottage at Ridgeview Park and playing tennis, walking, and jumping ocean waves with his daughters. He was a longtime member of South Avenue Methodist Church. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William R. Bruckman, Sr. and Nancy (Foraker); his first wife, Joyce; his second wife of over 50 years, Marilyn; and his brother Fred. He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Jones, Brenda Nichol (Herbert), and Kathryn Burgess (Joseph); his seven grandchildren Rachel Dixon (Michael), Allison Clepper (Joshua), Gwendolyn Jones, Laurel Jones (Jeremy Fague), Ryan Burgess (Clare), Melissa Nichol, and Matthew Nichol; and great-grandchlidren Joelie, Declan, and Verity Clepper; one sister, Barbara Kim. SCHMOTZER BARBARA ANN Of West Mifflin, Barb was born on April 28, 1952 and passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer on Sunday, March 31, 2019. Barb is survived by her husband, David Schmotzer; a son, Mathias (Mary) Schmotzer of Indiana; a daughter, Monica (David) DePaul of Pittsburgh; a brother, John (Sue) Grzesiuk of Kirkland, WA; and a brother-in-law, Greg (Maureen) Schmotzer of Carnegie. LAWLEY GLORIA Age 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, March 30, 2019. She was born on November 22, 1940 in Wilkinsburg, PA to William and Helen (Delancey) Butler. Gloria graduated from Wilkinsburg High School in 1959 and went on to work at Rockwell International. On April 29, 1961, she married John Regis Lawley. Together they enjoyed a lifelong love for each other, their three children, and one grandchild. Gloria, always a mom first, was forever available whether to play, give a new band a listen, watch the Pirates, Steelers, and Pens; or master a video game. She schooled many an opponent in Ms. Pacman and Dr. Mario. But, most of all, Gloria will be remembered for listening. As a mom, grandmum, aunt, or friend, she was always there to lend a caring ear and conversation leading you to find a solution to any problem. As a grandmum, Gloria had a wonderfully close relationship with her grandson Nicholas, following his interest in tech and sci-fi by giving Doctor Who and FaceTime a shot; she was preceded in death by her beloved husband John of 49 years; her parents; sisters Gert (Seifert), and Betty (Donehoo); and brother Bill; she is survived by her brothers, Jim (Crish) and Mike (Denise); daughter Kathie, sons Mike and Joe; grandson Nick; and many nieces and nephews. CATULLO VINCENT J. Age 94, of Pittsburgh, passed away unexpectedly, on March 30, 2019. Born in Castel di Sangro, Italy, he moved to the US at age six. Vincent enlisted with the Army Air Force after high school graduation. He was honorably discharged after four years of service and attended Carnegie Tech where he obtained a degree in electrical engineering. He had a long successful career with Union Switch and Signal. Upon retiring, he became a consultant for the Port Authority. Vincent is survived by his children; Virginia, Victor, and Richard Catullo; he is predeceased by his wife Marie; and son Albert; he is also survived by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and his younger brother and sister. Friends will be received Thursday, April 4, from 6-8 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC. corner of (118) Shaw and Triboro Avenues, Turtle Creek (412-823-1950).
