EBAUGH AARON DAVID On Monday, March 25th 2019, Aaron David Ebaugh, of Avalon, PA died at the age of 47. Aaron was creative and artistic and it showed in his work, restoring and creating beauty in homes and buildings all over this city. On October 10th, 1999, he married his best friend Pamela (Talenti) Ebaugh. They have since been raising three beautiful children together. If you knew Aaron, then you knew unconditional love and acceptance. His heart was so big and his thoughts so deep that he made the best listener and gave such good advice. His level of intelligence was so great there are no words to describe it. If you knew Aaron, then chances are he taught you something invaluable, gave you a new book to read, took you to a concert, or introduced you to something you've never even heard of before. He was the best husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend, and mentor. A rock for his family that will be so greatly missed. If you knew Aaron, then you knew how much better your life was because of him. Aaron's father Rev. Robert Ebaugh and grandparents Donald and Elizabeth Ebaugh were awaiting his arrival in heaven with open arms; he is survived by his wife, Pamela; and children, Madeleine (17), Evan (15), Riley (11); his mother, Kathy Ebaugh Greenawalt; his siblings, Nathan, Jason, Josh, and Elissa Ebaugh; and his nieces and nephews, Courtney, McKenzie, Hailey, Emma, Kayleigh, Aiden, and Jamison. Friends and family will be received from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28 at the KASPER-HAHN FUNERAL & CREMATION SVC., INC., 547 8th St, Ambridge PA 15003, 724-266-2549, Friends and Family will be asked to meet at 11 a.m. Friday, March 29th at the Plum Creek Presbyterian Church parking lot, 550 Center-New Texas Rd. SEBIC MARY CATHERINE "CATHY" (WEIR) Age 74, of Greentree, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019. Born July 15, 1944 in Pittsburgh; daughter of Edward J. and Edith (Swauger) Eger; preceded in death by her husband Mark D. Serbic; sister, Wilma (Sug) Irwin; brothers, Edward and Sebastian (Buzz) Eger; and her son Clifton (Clif) Weir. She is survived by her son John (Carolann) Weir; her stepdaughters, Kristen (Keith) Curran, and Susan (Steven) Large; her four grandsons, Kyle, Gage, Joshua, and Jacob; her five step-granddaughters, Ariane, Emily, Amanda, Carlyn and Samantha; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and close friends. Cathy enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to being a homemaker for many years, she also worked as an administrative assistant for GTE Corporation and ran her own vending machine business. A gathering in celebration of Cathy's life will be held on March 31, 2019 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., where a memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. at BEINHAUERS, 2828 Washington Rd., McMurray, 724-941-3211. DUTZMAN DENNIS "LADDIE" Age 87, of Plum Boro, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, March 24, 2019. Born on January 1, 1932 to the late Carl and Elizabeth (Petrosky) Dutzman of Windber, PA. Beloved husband of 64 years to Sally (Aldstadt) Dutzman; dearly loved father of Susan (Michael) Palladino, Dennis D. Dutzman, Diane (Robert) McElroy and the late Richard Dutzman; adoring grandfather of Kylie, Elizabeth, Brent, Emily and Molly; great-grandfather of Madelyn, Lucy, K.J. and Emelia; brother of Carl, Jr., Albert, Johnny and the late Lisa, Jolan, Margaret, Bob, Dolly, Ron and Billy. Dennis was a US Army Sgt. during the Korean War and an active member of Christ Lutheran Church in Murrysville. EDWARDS MARIAN CAROL (BAESLACK) Age 90 of Pittsburgh, passed away on March 25, 2019. Ms. Edwards was born November 26, 1928 in Pittsburgh, PA; daughter of Gustav and Irene (Eckstein) Baeslack. She was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. Marian retired from the Wilkinsburg School District, having served as a teacher, principal and student teacher supervisor. Marian enjoyed her retirement for many years, attending plays, concerts, traveling and gardening. One of her proudest accomplishments was becoming a Master Gardener. In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by her sister, Emily; brothers, Harold, Alfred, William Baeslack; and her loving husband, Cliff Edwards. Left to cherish her memory is her stepson, David Edwards; her daughter-in-law, Marisette Edwards; her niece, Carol (Baeslack) Colucci and her husband, Alan; her niece, Janet (Baeslack) Dzuricky of NC; her nephew, Brent Baeslack of ME and his wife, Sue; and two grandsons, Ian Edwards, Erik Edwards of CA and his wife, Sarah; also, grandniece Emily Colucci of NY; grandnephew, James Dzuricky; and grandniece Cara Dzuricky of NY. LISICA CHARLES E. Of Moon Township, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on March 23, 2019, at Butler Memorial Hospital in Butler, PA. He was 93. He was born on May 8, 1925, in Coraopolis, PA to the late Marion J. and Elizabeth F. (Shelleby) Lisica. He was a member of Greater Pittsburgh Aero Radio Control Society. He loved building and flying radio controlled model airplanes. Charles proudly served his country in the Navy during WWII from 1943 to 1946 on the USS Ahrens receiving four ribbons, a victory medal and was in several naval battles. Charles worked for Jones and Laughlin steel corporation in Aliquippa, PA. for over 30 years prior to retirement; he is survived by his two sons, James C. Lisica (Teresa) of Prospect, PA., and Gary C. Lisica of Stoneboro, PA; a brother, Walter J. Lisica of Moon Township, PA; three grandchildren, Jason Lisica (Sara), Cindy Lisica (Alan Mur) and Steven Lisica; and one great-grandchild: Quinn Lisica. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 71 years Jayne Lisica; a brother, Samuel J. Lisica; and sisters, Florence M. Lisica, Mildred Lisica, Frances L. Coyle and Jane R. Hyatt. WALLACE PHYLLIS JEANNETTE (SHARE) Of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Passed away on March 25, 2019, surrounded by her family and loving husband. She was 90 years old. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Walter (Sonny) McLaughlin Wallace; and their four children-Sharon Wallace-Platt (husband-Larry Platt), Timothy Walter Wallace (wife-Lee Anne Wallace), Thomas E. Wallace (former wife-Sandi Wallace), and Nancy Baum (husband-Nadav Baum). She is also survived by nine grand children-Sunny Yawn and Kaylee Stephens, Taylor, Jacquie and Kelly Wallace, Kirby Wallace, Saxon, Danika and Keaton Baum; and one great-grandson, Maverick. Phyllis loved life and had an incredibly positive, infectious personality. She was always smiling, laughing and managing to have a good time whether it was making her famous rueben sandwiches for St. Patrick's Day, on one of the many Wallace family vacations, playing golf, or just having everyone for Sunday dinner. She was an incredible and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was also a wonderful cook, she loved to entertain, and was an avid golfer. Phyllis was by all measures a strong woman. Even though she never had the opportunity to attend college, together with her husband Walter they made many sacrifices to insure that all their children graduated from college. She had very strong opinions and she was not the least bit shy about sharing them with others. She could be tough but she was always fair and had a big heart. She was extremely active and involved in various organizations including the Rosedale Woman's Club and River Forest's Women's Golf League, and she volunteered at Forbes Regional Hospital for many years. In addition, to her passion for cooking she also knitted, taught sewing classes, and loved to spend winters in Florida with her husband and family. The Wallace family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the staff at Presbyterian Senior Care-Westminster Place especially the team on the third floor for their attentiveness and loving care of Phyllis and Walter. FARRINGER RICHARD "DICK" Age 88, of Clinton, PA, formerly of Moon Township, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. Beloved husband of Helen Farringer. Born in Franklin, PA to the late Agnes and Irwin Farringer. Predeceased by brother, Irwin “Junior” Farringer; sisters, Roberta McCandless and Ruth Keene. Survived by, in addition to his wife Helen, his children, Richard (Mary) Farringer of New Orleans, Christie (Tony) DeChellis of Moon Twp., Brian (Lisa) Farringer of Moon Twp.; his step-children, Carolyn Pruver of Clinton, David (Brenda) Tennant of WV and Marilyn Corbin of WV; his brother, Ray Farringer of Mars, PA; and sister, Maxine Kersy of FL; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Dick was an aircraft mechanic for the US Air Force, National Guard. Retired after 38 years at the rank of Chief Master Sgt. He enjoyed golfing, was a member of Beaver Lakes Country Club, now Shadow Lakes, was an avid hunter, a member of Coraopolis Sportsman's Club. He was a sharp shooter for the Air Force and competed in tournaments around the U.S. earning a distinguished small arms expert marksmanship award, among others. GALASCO RAYMOND A. Of Bethel Park, age 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. Beloved husband of 60 years to the late Anna Marie (Stein); father of Raymond T. (Shirley), Thomas (Maureen), Michael (Orlinda), Patrick (Carol), Kathleen (Dan) Tauriello, and Karen (Ken) Debski; also survived by 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Ray was co-owner of Royale Automotive and enjoyed working with cars and gas model airplanes. NANZ CHARLES "CHUCK" Age 84, of San Diego, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Deer Hill Estates in Lakeside, CA, where he was residing. He was previously a resident of Pleasant Hills and Clarion, PA. Chuck was formerly married to Leah (Grill) Nanz Archibeque of San Diego who survives; he was the proud father of four children, Mark Charles Nanz (deceased), Michael Nanz of San Diego, Margie Smilowitz of Lorton, VA, and Marilyn Rieken of San Diego; he was the grandfather of three: Leah, Mark, and Brett (Marilyn's children); he was the great-grandfather of six: Carissa, Daniel, Ryan, Tyler, Aubrey and Callie; in addition to his son, Chuck was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Nanz, as well as his sister, Shirley Nanz Kraemer. Born on May 31, 1934, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Harry and Edith (Shearon) Nanz. He graduated from South Hills High School in 1952, University of Pittsburgh in 1959 where he received both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Chuck was a four-year letterman and a senior captain on the Pitt Panthers Swim Team. He coached at Baldwin-Whitehall High School from 1964-68 leading his teams to two second place finishes at the PIAA State Championships before coming to Clarion in 1968. In 1953, he served as a member of the United States Army in Okinawa, Japan for two years. Chuck was considered the father of the Clarion University Men's Swimming Team. From 1969 to 1977, he won seven straight PSAC Championships with a dual meet record of 74-10 under Nanz with three Clarion teams going undefeated. Chuck was inducted into the Clarion University Sports Hall of Fame on April 30, 2010. After retirement, Chuck was a passionate world traveler, avid gardener and a well-known handyman in his community. Arrangements are under the care of the EL CAMINO MEMORIAL, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego, CA.
