She was born in Pittsburgh on December 29, 1948, to the late George Duritza and Anne Matejchak Duritza. Beloved mother of Shannon Newcomb (Sean) of Mooresville, NC and Matthew Tansky (Tara) of Stanley, NC; sister of David Duritza of Rocky Gap, VA and Douglas Duritza (Angela) of Wall Township, NJ; beloved grandmother of Ryan and Sara Newcomb. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 19, 2016, at St. Therese Catholic Church, Mooresville, NC.
