BETTY (WIRTH) FEENEY Age 93, of Mt. Lebanon, died peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, September 24, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Walter Scott Feeney; mother of Carol Quinn (Andy) and Mary Feeney. Daughter of the late Emilie (Kimmich) and John Wirth. Predeceased by her siblings, Alice Paulus, Karl Wirth, Hilda Reilly and Helen Seaman; and four-legged friends, Lucy and Sammie. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews and her cherished canine companion, Riley. Special "Aunt" to Ryan, Jamie, JT, Pat, Deanna, Nate, Jake, Ben and Connor Quinn. A New Year's baby, Betty was born and raised in her family's bakery in South Oakland, destined to be a lover of all danish and desserts. She was a proud graduate of Carnegie Tech (now CMU) and spent 10 years in the executive offices of Alcoa before settling down in Mt. Lebanon to raise her family and to assist her husband, Scotty, in his legal practice. Betty thoroughly enjoyed 40+ years working and volunteering at St. Bernard Church and the parish grade school as a member of the school office, the rectory office, the Fish Fry team and -- her favorite -- the Apple Pie sale to benefit the parish school. The family wishes to thank Dr. Terence Philbin and Dr. Robert Schilken for their compassion, kindness, and attentiveness to all of Mom's medical needs throughout the years. Additional thanks to all of the hardworking care givers at Gallagher Home Health Services, Gallagher Hospice Services, and Comfort Keepers for their support and professionalism. And, special thanks to Megan Feeney King for your loving assistance during Mom's time of need. The family will receive friends at LAUGHLIN CREMATION and FUNERAL TRIBUTES, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Sunday, September 27, 2020, from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass in St. Bernard Church on Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. (FRIENDS, PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME, CHURCH AND CEMETERY.
