JACOB ELINOR J. Mrs. Elinor J. Jacob passed away, on January 2, 2016, at Glade Valley Center, Walkersville, MD. A previous resident of McKeesport and Bethel Park, PA, she spent her most recent years living at Country Meadows of Frederick in Maryland. Born June 1, 1924, Mrs. Jacob was the daughter of Mary and John Obusek, one of fourteen children. Her husband, Edwin K. Jacob, preceded her in death in 2005. Mrs. Jacob is survived by her children, Janice (Gilbert) Merritt, Robert (Catherine) Jacob, Carole Dellapina, and Diane (Robert) Causer. She will be missed by her eight grandchildren, Gil, Danielle, Robert, Daniel, Lauren, Lisa, Katie and Chris; as well as 12 great- grandchildren, Mary, Sierra, Lorelai, Hank, Chase, Parker, Miller, Abby, Penny, LJ and Oscar. Elinor is additionally survived by her sister, Mildred (Toots) Rafferty of Bethel Park, PA. A celebration of Elinor's life will be held in June 2016, in Bethel Park. Local services entrusted to the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills 15236. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Park will be private.
