ANNA LOU LECKIE Age 89, of Henrico, VA, died May 8, 2020. She is now rejoicing in the presence of her Lord and Savior. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, James M. Leckie of Pittsburgh, PA. Together they were committed to a life of service in ministry to youth and families. In 1964, Jim founded Youth Guidance, Inc., a ministry to at-risk youth, and in 2000, Jim and Anna co-founded Family Ministries, Inc., providing guidance and counsel for the building of strong marriages and families. Youth Guidance and Family Ministries merged to form Family Guidance, Inc. Beloved mother of Susan (Alan) Reed of Manakin Sabot, VA and Penny Hoey of Charleston, SC. Granna of Cary, Kelly and Jason (Abby) Reed, Jack (Lara) Hoey, James (Eunice) Hoey, and Park Hoey. Great-granna of Colin, Lucas, Lyla, Madelyn and Amelia Reed, Jack and Luke Hoey. She is survived by her brothers, Robert Ruegsegger of California and Wayne Ruegsegger of Washington. The family will privately remember and celebrate her life.
