Husband of Leslie Nelson Horwat; father of Ashley (fiancé Justin Burletic) Horwat, Jessica (Brandan) Hultz, Chelsea (Dondi) Thomas, Ryan (Nicole) Gallagher, grandfather of Madison, Alyssa "Whoosit", Vada, Theodore; brother of John and Walter Horwat. He worked for VA Hospital H.J. Heinz Campus.
