PETROSKY GEORGE Age 94, of Van Voorhis, PA, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017 in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born May 25, 1923 in Fallowfield Township a son of the late George and Kathryn Repich Petrosky. Mr. Petrosky was a WWII veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He was employed as an agent with the IRS retiring in 1983. He was a member of St. Katherine Drexel Parish Bentleyville, James C. Ford American Legion Post #949, Carroll Twp. and the National Active and Retired Federal Employee Association. Surviving is his wife of 63 years, Rose Marie Makowski Petrosky; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Petrosky was the last of his immediate family. Friends will be received Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 619 Main St., Bentleyville where Prayers will be offered on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Katherine Drexel Parish Bentleyville Campus with Rev. Edward L. Yuhas, Administrator officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. Military Rites will be accorded by James C. Ford American Legion Post #949, Carrol Twp.
